One of the director's here at 3G's Civils LTD is undergoing training (whilst working his socks off on the ground) to participate in a half marathon in Leamington Spa in June 2024. Connor is doing this run in aid of The National Autism Society. There are people within the lives of those here at 3G's Civils that have personally or have family members with autism. Connor says " I have seen the effects it can have on a family and how understanding and support from friends, family and everyone around them can help make a difference".
Connor's partners younger brother was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3 1/2. Throughout his life he has struggled with anxiety, speech and social communications whilst depending on routine to get him through the day. Connor's partners father says " Although life has been hard struggling through life's challenges for him, it has been rewarding at the same times as we will always be by his side with all our love and strength".
More than one in 100 people are diagnosed with being on the autism spectrum, and the National Autistic Society are helping to transform lives by creating a better society that works for people with autism. Autism comes in many different forms, different symptoms, different struggles.
